WARNING: Lipsticks has Lead in them!

This was just on the news today about Lipsticks having Lead in them or on them. From what it's saying is the more expensive brands are the ones with the most lead. the cheaper brands don't have that much but it has it. I found a clip on it on the internet, Please read:

400 lipstick brands found to contain lead by FDA

CNN:  Ladies, a warning before you pucker up...your lipstick could be covered in lead!
A study by the Food and Drug Administration found four hundred lipsticks on the market tested positive for lead.
The least contaminated lipstick was "Wet n' Wild Mega Mixers Lip Balm Bahama Mama". It was also the cheapest brand.
Five L'Oreal and Maybelline lipsticks ranked among the top most contaminated.
The worst offender was "Maybelline Color Sensational Pink Petal" by L'Oreal USA.
It contained more than 275 times the amount of lead than the Wet and Wild brand.
The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics wants the government to set limits for lead levels in lipsticks.
The FDA says the lead detected does not pose safety risks.

This is an eye opener!

Most definitely it is a eyeopener. They saying it don't pose a safety risk, if you ask me if they talking about it then it's something to be aware of. I'm glad that I never bought the big high end brands of lipsticks. I'm a LA Colors or Wet and Wild type of gal. LOL that brand LA Colors wasn't on there.
